Privacy at Boardloom
Last updated: 6 October 2026
This notice describes the Boardloom website at getboardloom.com and our content-workflow application. Boardloom is currently in development. For privacy questions or requests, contact help@getboardloom.com.
Information you provide
If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and any attachments you send. Our support address forwards incoming mail to the team’s Gmail inbox. Please do not send passwords, API secrets or sensitive personal information in support messages.
When you use the application, information may include your sign-in details, blog and workspace settings, keywords, source notes, article drafts, pin text, uploaded images, generated content, approvals and usage records. We use that information to provide the features you request, keep your work organized and respond to support requests.
Hosting and service providers
The public website uses WordPress on Namecheap hosting. The application is built and hosted on Base44. Email is handled through Namecheap forwarding and Gmail. These providers process information necessary to deliver their services. When you request AI generation or image analysis, the content needed for that request is processed through the application’s configured AI services. Do not submit confidential material you are not authorized to share with those services.
Provider information: Namecheap privacy policy, Base44 privacy policy and Google privacy policy.
Technical information and cookies
Hosting and application services can process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, device/browser information and error or security logs to deliver and protect the service. WordPress and application sign-in features use cookies or similar storage for authentication and preferences. We will update this notice before introducing additional marketing tracking on this website.
Connected accounts
Pinterest and WordPress connection features are being developed and are not currently available to the public. This notice will be updated to reflect their implemented permissions, storage and disconnection controls before public connection access is enabled. We do not ask you to send a Pinterest account password to Boardloom.
Generated images
The built-in image-generation service returns images at publicly accessible URLs. The app asks you to acknowledge this before generation. Anyone with such a URL may be able to view the image; deleting an item from your workspace may not remove the provider-hosted image. Do not include confidential information in image prompts.
Publishing and external links
Draft content is intended for your review. Content you choose to publish to an external site or platform becomes subject to that destination’s visibility settings and policies. Other websites linked from Boardloom operate under their own privacy practices.
Your requests and retention
You can contact help@getboardloom.com to ask about your information or request access, correction or deletion. We may need to verify that you control the relevant account before acting. Some records may need to be retained for security, resolving disputes or legal obligations. Service providers may also retain backup or operational records under their own retention practices.
Changes
We will revise this page as the product and its data practices change and update the date above. Questions about a change can be sent to help@getboardloom.com.
